Jody Sentel returned for the final week of the season once again, bringing rain her first day. We thought a trend (or erie coincidence) was occuring, following the rain and mud of Ft Smith last year and snowstorm in Frisco this March. Fortunately, the weather improved for a great end to the 2010 circus season, a polar opposite of the rain, mud and cold of 2009.
After Jody educated us regarding the Sedwick County Zoo tiger painting process, Casey decided to try a bit of artisitic creation and marketing himself. After several attempts, he picked up a rhythm of tiger footprints. We gifted them to many of the performers on the show.
After the first show, Jody searched the thriving metropolis of Sedan for better paint and canvas in our tiger painting endeavor; she was successful. In Shonti's "studio" we created more masterpieces despite the strong winds and then began a long clean-up process.
