He got from Mr. Orr
We had a big time at A. O.'s last night
Usual suspects, plus several circus fans
Good time was had by all
Good crowds there in Hancock MD
Looks like good crowds again today in Emmitsburg
Rite up the street from Taneytown
Very cool tune about racial drama written by Steve Earle
Titled "Taneytown"
Check it out some time...

Wal-Marts all over the middle west are texting each other:

"When that tiger trainer and those clowns walk in the door, it's a cinch to sell them a dozen white tee shirts. They go through 'em like Kleenex."

Fantastic fire hurdle. Sincere congrats, there are new things under the sun! Now for the "issue" raised. Anti-circus folk don't like fire hoops, and this trick probably includes a greater chance of accidental contact. Work around to nullify any such bs would be an alcohol flame rather than "gas."

Ben,
Thought of that have tried a couple combustibles already.Gas and Coleman fuel burned to high, have had good luck with charcoal lighter fluid. I will try alcohol, but I think it will be tough to light.

Was thinking of one of the highly flaminle alcohols like they use in an alcohol burner in a lab.

So what you are saying is don't try it with SoCo or even Bacardi 151??,,,,LOL

Mirielle,
Thank you. Radar (Ryan) is over zealous about the cats, and quite proud of his job here, he probably doesn't realize how many GREAT cat acts you have seen, and how much your compliment means here.

Anonymous,
I will only respond with I hope what you suggest doesn't happen, I cry at the sight of my own blood,,,lol

Casey,
I love these "anonymous" people who make brilliant comments like the moron who left this last one. They have the stones to make a comment but not to say who they really are... what a thing to hope happen to someone...I think his comment it "the stupidest thing ever". How about this...? If you dont like what you see on this blog, dont read it and dont leave hateful comments...

Lauren,
I chalked that one up to jealousy. It had that feel to me. If it were the normal AR nuts wishing me harm, I would have deleted it with the rest of the comments. All goes back to my newest motto. Let your haters be your motivators YO!!!

Trolls who don't have the guts to post their names show up on every block I read. They comment for two reasons: to make trouble and to get attention.

If they are ignored, they generally crawl back under their sad little rocks or go elsewhere to bother other people.

People forget that circus animals have a better quality of life than those in the wild. they also don't often realize that animals need stimulation. They like/need to play and be challenged.

What you've done is really remarkable it's skillful and it's good for the tiger.

...and yes, net trolls are everywhere.

I've never been a fan of the quality of life argument in the debate over management in domesticty versus the wild. Judging quality of life is a bit too subjective and anthropomorphic. Life in the wild can be short and brutal in some cases. Life in captivity can be long and painfully boring in others. Good animal management strives to deal with that potential for boredom, and training is a tool that helps. In a strictly biological sense I think reproductive males probably "enjoy" a natural life a bit more than a captive one, while it may be the opposite for many reproductive females -- but again that would be a vcery "human" judgment.
