Just got back from Cut & Shoot TX
Hade to babysit an elephant
Didnt have much of a celebration down there

Had a great drive home though
Weather is amazing lately
320 miles with windows down
Radio way up blasting Steve Earles

Chilled my bones

Lets see
Mon night had some friends from outta town
Come by and hang at open Mic
Was cool

Tue went down ta Deep Ellum
And opened for The Michael O'neal Band
Was very cool couple of folks even knew
the words to a couple of songs
That blew me away

You mean they can hear me?
Shit I best say something important

I am very close to writing some anti-war songs

And I was for the war in the begining

Does that make me a hypocrite?

I hope it doesn't

I just feel like we have made our point
and killed enough people
Theirs and ours.
I think we have done what we could to
let them know not to fuck with us

I also beleive we have scared alot of people

Most dangerous animal is one thats scared
I know this to be fact

And some of the little ones bite like a mo fo

So I beleive we can stop shooting now and start talking

Or nuke the whole middle east

But I promise that would be a war crime
And someone would have to go to hell for it
