Rolling Stock...

Here are a couple of the trucks
The green trailer is for the new tent
Which arrived a few days ago
We are half way through a 3 week stand
So it will make its first appearance Jan 4
The small pick up is our Bakkie
Which is what they call small trucks
We pull our caravan with it
And it's our wheels to town

What kind of pick-up is it? And what is the lot?

Pick up Mitsubishi Colt. Six speed V6.
The lot is a vacant lot on a major road (Zambezi Dr.) we are a mile up the road from a huge mall with indoor ice rink, and 100 yards from Builers Warehouse ( equal to home depot )

how do you like that 6 speed v6
those look like pretty nice mercedes tractors
how are the highways
ahighway map of S.A. would be nice
maybe with red dots marking your route cities

The roads are ok. Mostly toll highways. The drivers here are worse then Mexico. And there are thousands of white van cabs, that are the most dangerous things on the roads. The v6 is fine for the size trailers here. Would be scoffed at back home though. Working on a map

wouldn't keep up with your dodge ?

Speed wise maybe. Towing, no way. However fuel economy of v6 is great and you could buy five of the colts for the cost of one dodge diesel dually...
