Glad to see you finished the new sections to the cage! I am sure the presention will be far better with the extra room?
Good job on the jumping. It will be interesting to know, when back on the road, what percent they do a clean jump and not tip the device. Dion
They definitely move faster with me further "off" them Gary. It will still be me working the act though, so presentation of showmanship will still be at a loss,,,HAHA
Dion,
I made the hurdle so that I can adjust it in 3 inch intervals, once a week. In this video it is set at 15 inches. Two cats have jumped it 7 times a day for 3 days now..thats...uh...42 jumps and it has yet to be knocked over. My plan at this point is to practice with the hurdle set 3 inches higher then the height I am using in the show, then raise it once a week.
Impressive record for sure.
Dion
So how high do reckon that they'll eventually get to?
All that work is paying off - these girls are going great.
Steve,
I am hoping to jump them over two cats standing side by side, so 36 inches high and about 24 inches. I still don't think that would even be scratching the surface of what a tiger is physically able to do though.
That's amazing... and very beautiful work! Thanks Casey for sharing and teaching. Can't wait to see it firsthand and hang out on the lot again!
