Played an open mic in Amery WI. last night
At Granny Nemmies, a very cool coffee house
Cool in the fact that in a town of like 3000 ppl
they had like 5 or 6 teenage rockers wanting to play
And some could....
I played a half dozen tunes,
and sold some CDs,,,
COOL!
They couldn't fathom the idea that
someone wrote songs for themselves
Guess open mic is just different back home...

When the hell are you and the fam coming home? My girlfiend still wants to see the animals. I hope you and the family are good and you're having a great time. Let us know when you when are going to be back in town so I can make plans to be here for the triumphant return. I'll check this every couple of days so you can leave me a message. Just went backroading and listened to the cd, fucking greatness. It may have been hell in the studio but it came out a masterpiece. I can't write so I thank you and Michael for the music that I am listening too. I honestly think O'Neal's got a great chance of winning this contest. You should have been there the first round. After "Caleb and Ray Dawn (Houston Marchman), it was over. They are that good now. The good thing is that he didn't blow his load in the first round. He saved alot of his better stuff for the next two rounds. I really think he'll do good. The finals will probably be sometime in late Septmeber or early October, so maye you can make it back. I'll buy you a couple beers if you do. Anyway take care and hurry back soon.
